Valuation fees include the following: Ad Valorem Fee, Time Charge, Travel- and Sundry Expenses.Recommended tariff of fees for valuations in terms of the Regulations under the Constitution.

VALUATIONS from R150 000-00 to R350 000-00

Basic R1575 for the first R 150 000 Balance at R 4.50 per R 1 000

VALUATIONS from R350 000-00 to R500 000-00

Basic R2475 for first R350 000 Balance at R 4.00 per R 1 000

VALUATIONS from R500 000-00 to R 750 000-00

Basic R3 075 for first R500 000 Balance at R 3.50 per R 1 000

VALUATIONS from R 750 000-00 to R1 000 000-00

Basic R3 950for first R 750 000 Balance at R 2.75 per R 1 000

VALUATIONS from R1 000 000-00 to R5 000 000-00

Basic R4 637 for first R1 000 000 Balance at R 2.00 per R 1 000-00

VALUATIONS from R5 000 000-00 to R10 000 000-00

Time Charges

Recommended charges per hour, or part thereof, are as follows:

Professional Valuer R 630.00

Professional Associated Valuer R 520.00

Candidate Valuer R 375.00

Travel Expenses

Travel will be levied at R3.70 per kilometer.

Sundry Expenses

Disbursements and costs incurred by members should be charged at cost. (Plans, drawings, endorsements, deeds, postage, telephone calls, copies, photographs and other incidentals.)

Interest on overdue Accounts

Members are entitled to charge interest on overdue accounts at a recommended rate of 3% above prime bank lending rates, subject to the maximum laid down by law.
